This 1st-2nd grade class started the school-year with manuscript (printing), then switched to cursive mid-year. Marie Hablitzel, the author of Draw Write Now, taught the lesson.
“We started the drawing lessons together. The children used their own ideas for the background.” — Marie Hablitzel
The Swan Lesson is in Draw Write Now, Book 1. The children attended Community Christian School in Red Bluff, CA, in October, 1995.

Marie Hablitzel volunteered at Community Christian School in Red Bluff, CA with the 1st - 2nd grade class.
